We are not the owners of Matty, we are her breeder and handlers, but will gladly forward all requests for their puppies to her owner that we receive.

We do not ship puppies
We are located in Central NJ and require all prospective homes to come visit before we agree to them as new homes. If you are not able to or unwilling to drive to Central NJ for a visit without intent to bring home a puppy immediatly, I am sorry I cannot help you. I will, however, be glad to help you locate an ETHICAL, DDBS member breeder that is closer to you if you would like.
We do not sell "breeding" puppies
Our puppies are either pet/companion (these are pups we feel don't have what it takes to be a show dog, they may have a longer muzzle, less wrinkle, too much white, too light, kinked tail etc.) Companions must be spayed or neutered by the age of 12 months. Our "show potential" puppies must be shown according to our contract. If a dog is not a show dog, it is obviously not a "breeding" dog.
We participate in AKC/FSS registration
We do not sell puppies to homes that are looking for a future "stud dog" or "brood bitch" to a dog they currently have that is not fully AKC/FSS registered and was not purchased as a "show" potential dog, or purchased from a pet store.
We keep puppies until they are 12 weeks old
Pups will never leave our home prior to 12 weeks or age. This allows us to give them four rounds of shots, totally deworm them, microchip them, crate train them, and allow them to learn independance from their litter mates and mom without trauma. We have found that our pups adjust must better to their new homes when they have more time with us.
We do not sell "holiday" or "gift" puppies
Everyone in the family must agree to bringing home a Dogue de Bordeaux if it is to come from us. A questionaire must be sent to us and signed by all people in the family. We will not allow a pup to go as a "holiday" or "surprise" gift under no circumstances.
And Most Important - PLEASE CONSIDER RESCUE BEFORE A PUPPY
There are many young adult, adult and even geriatric Dogues de Bordeaux in our rescue program that need homes. Please consider a rescue dog before a puppy. Check out the DDBS Rescue Site for more information on rescue, and also go to www.petfinder.org for the most up to date DDBS Rescue List. Choose DOG, then type in breed name Dogue de Bordeaux, and use Zip code 08884, this will bring all DDBS Dogue de Bordeaux Rescues on the top of the list.
