Hudsan- our first Dogue de Bordeaux - is the daugher of well known east coast black mask, TNT Harley de Merrimac (TNT Willow x TNT Cinamon) and TNT Slut. She is one of the very few dogues being shown that are of direct TNT lineage. She possesses a stout, wide, strong body, exaggerated features, correct topline, correct tail, correct proportions, and good Dogue de Bordeaux temprament.

Sadly we lost Hudsan in October of 2005. She developed a limp which lead to a pathalogical femur fracture. This fracture, and the limp, were caused by a tumor growing on her bone. She left this world at home, on the kitchen floor, where she spent many days. Our home is very quiet without her barking and jumping like a puppy. We did not expect to loose her this year, and she is terribly missed. She brought us into the world of the Dogue de Bordeaux, and we are grateful for that.

Hudsan completed both championships at the age of 17 months. She competed across the country, continuosly winning against older dogs and receiving critiques from international experts such as Jaques Beceauw of France and Raphael Mallo Alcrudo of Spain. She retired in 1997

In October of 1999 she came out for the DDBS North East Regional - her first show in over two years and won Best of Opposite Sex in the DDBS North East Regional under FCI judge Mr. Raphael Mallo Alcrudo of Spain, with a 31 dog entry. Hudsan finally completed her DDBS Championship in 2003 at the DDBS North East Regional Specialty, by winning not only Best Veteran, but Winners Bitch with nice competition.

She was the second Dogue de Bordeaux temperment tested with the Canine Kennel Club and passed with a 14/18 score and her TT has been approved by the DDBS.

Hudsan was featured in a full page photo spread in the December 1997 issue of DogFancy, and has been published in Janish's UK book on the Dogue de Bordeaux. Her photo that was in DogFancy has been found on many items including sweaters, mugs, mirrors and watercolor paintings.

Hudsan had been PennHip screened (.77), and is thyroid and heart normal. Unfortunatly Hudsan never produced puppies, and was spayed in 2002.
